Breakfast - small cup of Irish oats reheated from yesterday, half a banana, and yogurt, with water and vitamins. Still yummy!
Lunch - medium serving of lentils with a couple handfuls of oyster crackers. This is a good day! Oh, yes, more water.
Snack - the other half of the banana from breakfast
Dinner - the water delivery truck has not arrived and we have used the last of three 5-gallon bottles at the office. Sadness befalls me. I improvise to make some fresh old fashioned oatmeal which I eat with another banana and more yogurt. I make a mental note to bring water from home tomorrow.
21:45 - Day 38, I walked 1.04 miles with my friend in 23 minutes; Series 2 total 24.46 miles in 10 hours 13 minutes.

until it got too many red cards from Wounded Duck and the Boredom Enforcement Committee ... now the tortoise's goal is to get to 10 red cards so he can get Big Dog to drive down and take a good long walk with the tortoise
P. S. This blog listens to its readers. We have the Benjamin Category Override for 5+ mile walks and now, it humbles Tortoise to say he has been named "Lou", by Doug Jr, in memory of Mr. Consistency himself, Lou Gehrig. Tortoise can hardly type the words to think he is in any way comparable to the noble Iron Horse. Thank you!
