I walked 1.57 miles and climbed 79 feet (at an average grade of 2.8% in the climbing portion) in 46 minutes today.  The walk included a HumanaFit category 5 climb, my first since August 16.  Tortoise rating:  5.7.  I actually went faster and farther than this indicates, because about 15 minutes of the walk was inside a mall.  I have had good success with tracking walks inside of grocery stores and apartment buildings, but did not get good satellite reception inside the Red Cliffs Mall.  I like to try to state eating high and exercise low if there is any question about exactly what I did, that way I know I did at least as well as what is stated and possibly better.

Today was a welcome Sabbath day of rest. In the evening, after church and all was done, Willyne and I watched Mr. Holland's Opus ... still a great story 17 years after its original release.  I love the line at the bottom of the picture above "He wrote his greatest song in the key of life."

I also walked at least 0.50 miles and climbed 20 feet of stairs in 12 minutes, bringing my chapter 3 totals to 115.19 miles walked in 45 hours 43 minutes, with 7,463 feet climbed, and 14 swims totalling 4,640 meters in 4 hour 57 minutes.

My weigh-in this morning was 247.9, down 3.9 pounds since my last weigh-in on July 29, and 21.8 pounds total for chapter 3 -- my recommitment since May 1.  I think this means I lost more on my cross-country magical mystery tour and up on the mountain with Willyne than I initially thought, and now I have lost the water I held when at 7800 feet elevation for a week.  Or something like that ...
