OK, I should be on the machine every night. That's a given, reminded by the fact that my blood pressure was good at the doctor two days ago, and the rest of my vital signs were normal, but my oxygen count was low. errrrr. You may know we have lots of little people at our home these days, and I move a lot when I sleep, which means the machine periodically leaks air, producing extra noise until I move back to a position more to its liking. (None of which I am conscious of while it is occurring, of course). So I decided to lay off the machine for a few weeks. Apparently this was a bigger sacrifice than I realized.
Anyway, I went back to work this afternoon, and went on a walk half the length I would have liked, just to keep going on it at some level. For where I am right now, I think it was about right.
So for you fellow number lovers (and also you especially hardy souls who read clear to the last word), here goes:
I walked 1.15 miles in 23 minutes this evening, climbing 89 feet in the process. It was my eighth category 5 climb, and first since June 26. Totals of my category 5 climbs is 15.69 miles with 1,234 feet climbed in 5 hours 35 minutes.
Chapter 3 totals are 64.99 miles walked in 25 hours 49 minutes, with 3,501 feet climbed, and 11 swims totalling 4,240 meters in 4 hour 34 minutes. Here's a map:

Today's last word ...
I read Alma 10-12 and Amos 5 today. Amazing how history repeats itself. Remind me please, somebody, how the benefits of having attorneys in our society outweighs the detriments ... Some of my best friends are attorneys, and when you need one, you do indeed need one. Their greatest benefit is to help you arrange your affairs so you don't need to use them otherwise ... which leads me to Terreeeblay's Law of Suits ... the only people who win lawsuits are attorneys. Even if you win, you lose. We forget this law at our peril, as Alma and Amulek ably remind us. Cheerio!
