Mile 917. Tortoise walked 3.77 miles as the day began along the Bloomington Hills Trail beginning at the Crosby Family Confluence Park trailhead in St. George. Shortly before walking 2 miles, Lou turned around and retraced his steps. There were 354 feet climbed in 1.89 miles along the way, giving that portion a 4.5 tortoise rating. The rest of the path was flat or downhill. Lou burned 554 calories in 1:09:24 hours doing this.

I've walked 51 consecutive non-Sundays since my last missed day on September 20, and overall have walked on 264 of the 277 non-Sundays thus far in 2014, a 95.31% consistency rating.
The purpose of the percentages is to have a higher percentage of distance and time walked than of the year. This tells Tortoise that he is on track. Yes, this is more numbers than you are likely interested in, all Tortoise can say is he's really good at setting high goals and having them slip away because he doesn't do them every, every day.
"Some of you have children that do not respond to you, choosing entirely different paths. Father in Heaven has repeatedly had that same experience. While some of His children have used His gift of agency to make choices against His counsel, He continues to love them. Yet, I am sure, He has never blamed Himself for their unwise choices."
