However, I was not in the mood to give the Pitt a second chance, and so instead went for a mixture of
orange and vanilla frozen yogurt ... think creamsicle. There was a large lit parking lot between it and the neighboring Wal-Mart, so I walked and got tasty goodness to end my day ...

If you foodies are wondering what fine eating establishment I stopped at for homemade shrimp and sausage gumbo, french bread and butter, not to mention a very tasty slice of coconut cream pie, well that would be the home of Bill and Stephanie Ledbetter, who were my kind hosts for 2 hours on a stop in DeRidder between Shreveport and Sulphur. Rachel, Stephanie would be Uncle Wally's oldest daughter, or if you prefer, my first cousin. Living that far away, I hadn't seen them since they were married ... something like 25 years ago. We really enjoyed our brief visit, and I got back on the road. Here's a couple pictures of them ...
Today's Last Word ...
"This is a paradox of man: compared to God, man is nothing; yet we are everything to God. While against the backdrop of infinite creation we may appear to be nothing, we have a spark of eternal fire burning within our breast. We have the incomprehensible promise of exaltation—worlds without end—within our grasp. And it is God’s great desire to help us reach it." - President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Cheerio!
