I opted to walk home from work last night and walked back to work this morning (Saturday, September 15), rather than do a long walk with a category 3 climb today, since it is a deadline week at work. This morning's walk was 3.01 miles, with 180 feet climbed in 48 minutes. The climbing portion was rated HumanaFit category 5 for the second consecutive day, and had a 3.1% average grade. Tortoise rating: 5.2. Please click on the line below for a map and additional information:
This brings my chapter 3 totals to 165.48 miles walked in 62 hours 24 minutes, with 11,913 feet climbed, and 14 swims totalling 4,640 meters in 4 hour 57 minutes. This was my 33rd category 5 walk. They total 50.22 miles, with 4,048 feet climbed in 17 hours 3 minutes. Average grade while climbing 3.65%

Today's last word ... from reading in Zechariah 14 and 3 Nephi 2-7:
"And he did minister many things unto them; and all of them cannot be written, and a part of them would not suffice, therefore they are not written in this book. And Nephi did minister with power and with great authority.
"And it came to pass that they were angry with him, even because he had greater power than they, for it were not possible that they could disbelieve his words, for so great was his faith on the Lord Jesus Christ that angels did minister unto him daily.
-- 3 Nephi 7:17-18
Mormon wrote at length of the teachings of several of the Nephite prophets, for example, Alma the Younger. Yet Alma's great great grandson Nephi ministered so many things that Mormon could not write them all on his plates, and this Nephi's ministry was so powerful that a partial description "would not suffice".
I also find it inspiring that Nephi's righteous power was so great that they could not disbelieve his words. His faith caused angels to minister unto him daily. How would it be to be that righteous?
Cheerio!
