Steve, Marnie, their children and I showed up at the same time to wish my dad a happy Father's Day as my mother joins in the conversation. Willyne and my children had already made it a memorable day and weekend, so my heart is full. We timed it right, just as dad was finishing his weekly check in with his ham radio emergency preparedness network. Glad they are always ready to go!
I talked with Benjamin by phone while walking home from my mom's, he encouraged me to post this, so you get the unusual Sunday post for a short 0.6 mile walk with 15 feet climbed in 12 minutes. Tortoise rating: 5.6; calories burned: 96. If you're as in to numbers as me, click below to see the updated yearly totals ...
Cheerio!
2014 Stats:
461.40 miles walked, which is 46.09% of my 2014 goal.
143:37:25 hours walked, which is 45.89% of my 2014 goal
21,352 total feet climbed
73,790 calories burned
45.37% of the year has passed
I've walked on 131 of the 142 non-Sundays thus far in 2014, a 92.25% consistency rating.
The purpose of the percentages is to have a higher percentage of distance and time walked than of the year. This tells me I am on track. I'm sure this is more numbers than you are interested in, all I can say is I'm really good at setting high goals and having them slip away because I don't do them every, every day.
The tortoise is smiling!
You are awesome, hope you had an equally awesome Fathers Day :)
