Mile 415. Day 3 of the trek west took the happy crew through walking stops in Amarillo, Texas, a rest stop about halfway between Tucumcari and Santa Rosa, New Mexico, and the Coronado Center mall in Albuquerque on their way to Gallup, New Mexico. For all you Route 66 aficionados out there, yes, that means The Mother Road was followed all afternoon! The day's walking thought was by Quentin Cook ...
Cheerio!

Thank goodness for an air conditioned fun play area near a pizza stand while freon was recharged in the van across the street. |

One step at a time can lead to great things!
And now for today's walking thought ...
"In one of the most profound verses in all of scripture, Alma proclaims, 'If ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now? (Alma 5:26)' ...
"This question, 'Can ye feel so now?' rings across the centuries ... Alma's challenge has never been more important."
The tortoise is smiling!
