Today's walk (September 7) was 1.08 miles with 82 feet climbed in 15 minutes.  The climbing portion was rated category 5 for a fourth consecutive day, with a 3.2% average grade.  Tortoise rating:  5.4. Please click on the line below for a map and additional information:



This brings my chapter 3 totals to 146.78 miles walked in 56 hours 56 minutes, with 10,607 feet climbed, and 14 swims totalling 4,640 meters in 4 hour 57 minutes. Totals of my 29 category 5 climbs is now 41.35 miles with 3,491 feet climbed in 14 hours 47 minutes.

Today's last word ...

Neither the Bible nor the Book of Mormon in and of themselves is sufficient. Both are necessary for us to teach and learn about the full and complete doctrine of Christ. The need for the other does not diminish either one of them. Both the Bible and the Book of Mormon are necessary for our salvation and exaltation. As President Ezra Taft Benson so powerfully taught, “When used together, the Bible and the Book of Mormon confound false doctrines” (“A New Witness for Christ,” Ensign, Nov. 1984, 8).
